My passion for freediving started when I was lucky enough to swim with humpback whales in Tonga. It was one of the most powerful experiences I have had to date; to make eye contact with a whale. I knew instantly that an incredibly intelligent animal was looking back at me.

Freediving is not only great for appreciating our marine environment, it is also fantastic for mental health, making friends and being part of the community. I could have never imagined that I would be able to part of turtle rescue efforts and meet amazing people from all walks of life.

I love my sunrise dives at Cabbage Tree Bay at Manly as well as dive sites along the East Coast.
